Always used the middle name of "Thaddeus", but his baptismal certificate
shows the name of "Franklin". No family member seems to know why. In the
Masters Family Bible there are entries for both names.Godparents: Bartolomeo Oliveros & Fernanda Gonzales. He was baptized at
the RC Cathedral of St Augustine. Copy of baptismal certificate in the
possession of.......It was in this generation that the name was anglicized from MESTRE to
MASTERS.Death recorded in Vol 130, Reg No. 1240, Charleston, S.C. Cause was internal
injuries from accident. Buried 2nd Presbyterian Church Yard. Address at
time was 138 Rutledge Ave.Florida MARRIAGE RECORDS "Masters"

daughter Elizabeth Rebecca, to honor her sister.We believe the sister married someone with the surname of MAJOR (from
Masters bible).
