OBITUARY: (Copy on file)The funeral of Mr. John Reardon, who died at his home, South Burnie,
on Thursday, took place at the Wivenhoe cemetery yesterday in the
presence of a large gathering. Father J. Hanahoe officiated at the graveside.
The chief mourners were Messrs. J Reardon (son), and C. and G. Reardon
(grandsons). The carriers were Messrs. F Astell, J Little, N. Summers
and H. Mc Graill.
Included in the floral tributes were those from the traffic branch of the
Emu Bay Railway Co., and from the girls of the staff of the finishing
room at Associated Pulp and paper Mills Ltd.
Grave contains Daughter Olive.. Not on headstone.
Died 1890 aged 2 years in Avoca Victoria.
