Harry Russell TATE

Was at Sherborne School unti 1890.
In North Dakota 1890 - 1894., Colonial Civil Service 1897-1923, Provincial Commissioner, Kenya Colony; Transport Officer, Ashanti Field Force 1900-1901, Ogaden Punitive Force 1901. Residence: Church House, Shillingstone, Dorset.


Mary Jane TATE

Peter Leckie says Mary's name was Mary Jane Tate.
Her Father's will and her Mother's also call herMary Jane yet in a letter to her brother-Charles Richmond she seems to have signed herself M.M.Webb and called herself' your Sister'.

Witnesses to Mary Tate's will were John Tate and what appears to be Henry Carr Bull.

Served on the North coast of Sain during Carlist war 1836, Col Commandant1862-1865.

1881 Census says he was alive and living at Albermarle Road Fernshurst, Beckenham, kent, Eng with his wife Louisa M. Tate
