I have just been looking at your Reardon site and thought I would pass on a little snippet of information for you. You show details of the Cripps family from Gordon, Tasmania and list the children of William Henry Cripps & Elizabeth Pace. With reference to their son "Andrew Cripps" b.9.7.1876, you may be interested to know that he married Charlotte Thereasa Murphy (yes, it is an unusual spelling for "Thereasa"!). Charlotte was born abt. 1881/82 to Michael Murphy and his wife Jemima. Jemima was born "Jemima HERON" she firstly married convict, Joseph MOLES and had 5 children to him before he died as a result of a snake bite. She next married Joseph's farming partner, Michael MURPHY, in 1860 and they had 9 children (Charlotte was the youngest). Michael died on St. Patrick's Day, 17.3.1890 as a result of suicide (he took a dose of "Rough on Rats" poison - in the presence of his 8 y.o. daughter Charlotte!
I am connected to the Heron family via Jemima's older half brother, Alexander Heron, who was my GGGrandfather.
