A photo on the Weekly Courier dated March 1905 states that Sarah Gadd, widow of the late Joh n Gadd arrived in Tasmania, January 12, 1840. At the time the photo was taken Sarah was th e mother of 23 children, had lived to see 70 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren
